Application

The surface must be clean, dry and free of granular substances to achieve optimal bonding.  All surfaces should be primed  with a suitable primer to ensure good adherence of the membrane  with a C2S1 powered adhesive

If a square or linear drain is installed then a section of the membrane should placed around the drain

The horizontal wall & floor connections are sealed with Izotex Waterproof Sealing Tape. Air voids should be removed to ensure better sealing.

The vertical wall connections are sealed with Izotex Waterproof Sealing Tape starting from top to the bottom. The sealing tape is lapped over previously applied horizontal seals to secure corners.

Air voids are removed by applying pressure to ensure better sealing.

Thin set mortar is applied to the floor surface with notched trowel.

The membrane is laid to the floor according to water flow direction. It is bonded to surface before adhesive gets dry. To ensure better adhesion, air voids should be removed by applying pressure. There should be 10 cm overlaps at joints

It is recommended to use izotex sealing tape above overlaps for safer sealing.

Thin set mortar is applied to the wall surface with 4mm notched trowel.

The membrane is applied on walls starting from top to bottom. The membrane should be placed over izotex  Sealing Tape at the corners. For better sealing, air voids should be removed by applying pressure. There should be 10 cm overlap at joints

It is recommended to use izotex sealing tape above overlaps for safer sealing.

you can directly start tiling procedure.
Thin-set mortar requires time to be completely cured yet, it has enough bonding strength to install tile over the membrane.
Our recommendation is to wait until the applied adhesive totally cured/dried and then start the tiling process.
